Hud, Tom ap Dan, JJ Sneed and Kizzy Crawford will be playing Clwb Ifor Bach on Saturday December 1st.

As a follow up to Gig 50, Cymdeithas yr Iaith have gone on tour.

Over the Summer, 50 Welsh bands from the past and present of the Welsh music scene descended on Pontrhydfendigaid, outside Aberystwyth to celebrate 50 whole years of Cymdeithas yr Iaith.

Over two days, fifty artists played to celebrate the amazing work Cymdeithas have done to support and inspire the scene: keeping it relevant and varied for half a century.

Never has the sheer diversity of Welsh music been so effectively consolidated into two days.

That’s what I’m trying to tell you, it’s amazing how such a small community of people, have produced such an outward looking and impressive back catalogue.
